A great Swiss ski poster by Alois Carigiet. Carigiet was a Swiss graphic designer, painter and illustrator. His most famous work is a series of six illustrated children's books with themes from the Alps. In 1966 he received the inaugural Hans Christian Andersen Medal for children's illustrators. He has designed several Swiss travel poster as well.
The poster is in very good condition except for some light wear, signs of being rolled and dirt in upper parts. This poster would fit well on the wall in any ski chalet.
