Many good posters were sold at Swann Galleries the 19th November. The auction 'Rare and Important Travel Posters' had a lot of good items. Many posters fetched high prices, sometimes way over the normal price you would find at vintage poster dealer. This happens many times and shows buyers often don't do their research properly. At the same time, if you follow the market closely you often can do bargains at auctions.
