One of the best-known ship lines on the transatlantic routes between the Adriatic ports and the Americas was the Cosulich Line. This cool poster depicts the Cosulich Line funnel painted in the Italian colors. A funnel used only between 1932 and 1936. In the background you see the New York City skyline.
Giovanni Patrone is an Italian poster artist who made several stunning travel posters. He studied painting at the Royal Institute of Fine Arts of Naples under Domenico Morelli and Filippo Palizzi, and later became professor of design.
