Great color lithograph of drawing by Thomas Ryan, depicting a view of the source of the Waikato River as it leaves Lake Taupo. There is a pataka at the right, two figures in a waka at left, and a harakeke (flax) bush in the centre foreground. Mounts Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu are in the distance.
Artwork from 1893, but guess this a print from the 1920's. The print came with some posters from the same period.
Cool and very rare. Ask for better photos if interested
