This is a beautiful Norwegian travel poster from 1913 depicting a brown bear in a Norwegian landscape. The design is by the famous Norwegian artist Per Lasson Krohg (1889-1965). Krohg's work as an artist covered a wide field, from paper drawings, illustrations, and posters to set design, sculpture, and monumental paintings.

He is most frequently associated with the mural he created for the United Nations Security Council Chamber, located in the United Nations building in New York City.

Text on the poster: "Til Norge - et ideelt land for turister og feriereisende" (To Norway - an ideal country for tourists and holiday travelers)

The poster has some repairs and is mounted on linen.
