This is a wonderful Austrian travel poster promoting Vorarlberg as a destination for winter holidays. The poster probably depicts the parish church of St. Nicholas in Lech in lovely winter scene.
Vorarlberg is the smallest of all the provinces in Austria with several popular ski destinations. Some two thirds of Vorarlberg are higher than 1,000m. Valleys and mountain ranges divide up the land into compact, pleasantly small spaces.
The designer, Heinrich C. Berann, was the father of the modern panorama map, but did also design many lovely normal posters,
In very good condition. A tear mended at top. Mounted on linen. Minor wear.
