KUI Ungdom

This striking original Swedish political poster was issued in 1938 by the Communist Youth League (Sveriges Kommunistiska Ungdomsförbund) in support of the Communist Party (Arbetarepartiet Kommunisterna). Designed by the artist known as ÅF, it is a powerful example of Swedish political graphic design from the years preceding the Second World War.

The poster features a determined young worker raising a clenched fist, symbolizing solidarity, strength, and political activism. The bold red star and the slogan "Ungdom – ge din röst åt Arbetarepartiet Kommunisterna" ("Youth – give your vote to the Communist Party") reinforce its direct and compelling message.

With its dramatic composition and strong visual impact, the poster is both an important historical document and an outstanding example of interwar political poster art.
