Det Norske Luftfartselskap A/S was an airline and flag carrier of Norway. Founded in 1927, it operated domestic and international routes from 1935 to 1941 and from 1946 to 1951. It became one of the three founders of Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS).
Det Norske Luftfartselskap (DNL) posters are very hard to find and therefor sought after. You do not often see them for sale. This is a beautiful and stylish poster designed by Gunnar Moum depicting a plane flying above the globe. Norway by Airway.
Adding to its historical value, this poster is mentioned in the book "Poster Gallery: The Best Posters of 1946" by J. I Biegeleisen, further highlighting its significance as a notable piece of art.
