This original vintage poster was issued by Jofa Sport (Jonssons Fabriks A.-B., Malung) to promote their ski pole "Matsbostaven".
The ski pole got its name after the inventor Martin Matsbo, a Swedish cross country skier. After his career, he was a great innovator and entrepreneur, the so-called Matsbostaven was one of the 40s and 50s most used. His greatest achievement as an inventor was in ski wax. In 1946, he co-founded the ski wax company Swix.
