This vintage travel poster, originating from the 1950s and released by SAS, captures the allure of flying to India.

Designed by the talented artist Otto Nielsen, known for his extensive contributions to SAS during the late 1940s to 1970s, the poster showcases a captivating illustration of a monkey holding an orange, likely a Tufted gray langur. These enchanting primates are commonly found in the southeastern regions of India and Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka, they inhabit both dry zone forests and human settlements.

Interestingly, the same image can be found in a SAS calendar from 1955, further highlighting its significance.
