This a lovely original vintage travel poster issued to lure travelers to Norway.
The poster depicts a wonderful sunny summer day scene from Lake Loen, a beautiful lake fed by glacial run off, especially from the Jostedalsbreen and Tindefjellbreen glaciers. The couple in the rowing boat is admiring the beautiful steep mountains and the glacier green water.
This has been printed several times. This is the print from 1964 with the German text. The poster has a tear at upper left repaired by visible tape.
In very good condition. Edge wear.
