This is an authentic antique lithographic poster from 1916 issued to promote the play Comrades (Kamraterna) by August Strindberg.
Johan August Strindberg was a Swedish playwright, novelist, poet, essayist, and painter. A prolific writer who often drew directly on his personal experience. Strindberg is known as one of the fathers of modern theatre. The Comrades was a comedy written in 1886, his first play in a contemporary setting.
