This extremely rare original vintage Norway travel and shipping poster was issued by Det Forenede Dampskibs-Selskab (DFDS) in Copenhagen to promote passenger steamship connections to Norway via Stettin (now Szczecin, Poland) and Copenhagen, Denmark. The German headline "Norwegen via Stettin-Kopenhagen" translates as "Norway via Stettin-Copenhagen", indicating that the poster was intended for the German-speaking travel market.

The colorful illustrated map shows the sea route from Stettin through Copenhagen to Oslo, with a passenger steamship sailing along the Norwegian coast. The stylized landscape, bright green and yellow landmasses, blue waterways and bold red lettering create a striking composition typical of early 20th-century Scandinavian travel advertising.
