The Sundsvall Exhibition of 1928, held from June 21st to July 29th, attracted approximately 850 exhibitors. Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf and his wife Louise Mountbatten officiated the inauguration on June 21st.

Spanning a month, the exhibition was the largest of its kind in Norrland at the time, featuring exhibitors from various industries including industry, crafts, food, agriculture, art, and tourism. Notably, associations like Skidfrämjandet seized the opportunity to promote Storlien as a ski resort, even amid the summer heat.
