Original mid-century travel poster for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, designed by Leen Spierenburg to promote flights to the Caribbean. The composition features a central portrait of a weathered local man in a wide-brimmed straw hat, surrounded by vivid, stylized vignettes: palm-lined beaches, Spanish colonial fortresses, sugarcane fields, tropical villages, and colorful carnival dancers.

Printed by Kuhn en Zoon, Rotterdam, this lithograph embodies the optimism and romance of the postwar travel era, when air travel was marketed as an exotic and aspirational adventure.

Condition: Almost good. Age wear, some margin wear, small tears, and pinholes in each corner. Colors remain strong. Linen backing can be arranged upon request.
