This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
Percy Padden designed many posters for The Royal Mail Line over the years. This poster depicts a cruise ship inside a Norwegian fjord welcomed by the locals with horse carriages at the small harbor. You also see Norwegian flags so maybe they are celebrating 17th of May?
The Royal Mail did cruises to Norway every summer from the 1920's to the late 1930's. I have seen a leaflet with the same image dated 1928.
This rare poster is one of Padden’s early posters for the Royal Mail Line Steam Packet Company that was liquidated in 1932.
