La Norvege

A beautiful travel poster by Arent Christensen promoting Norway as a tourist destination.

Christensen was born in Denmark but his family moved to Norway before he was seven. He was a graphic artist and belonged to the first generation of Norwegian artists who were trained in graphics.

He was purchased by the Victoria and Albert Museum and was elected to the Society of Graphic Artists.
This is a typical Christensen work and is one of his two Norwegian travel posters. 

The poster has been restored for a missing corner at right bottom. Mounted on paper. The restoration is visible close up but the poster would look good framed and on the wall.
