St. Moritz is a high Alpine luxury resort in the Engadine in Switzerland, at an elevation of about 1,800 meters above sea level. It is Upper Engadine's major village and a municipality in the district of Maloja in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.
St. Moritz hosted the Winter Olympics both in 1928 and 1948. It is a popular destination of the upper class and international jet set, as well as one of the most expensive ski resorts in the world.
