This wonderful original poster is designed by famous Swiss designer Martin Peikert. His tourism posters have a unique recognizable style and are highly collectible. This poster depicts a lovely woman dressed in yellow fashion of the time and in the behind you see the snowcapped mountain peaks. Great image!
Champéry is a municipality in the district of Monthey in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. The Champéry – Planachaux cable-car takes skiers to the Portes du Soleil recreational area, at an altitude of 2,000 m. With 194 ski lifts and over 650 km of ski slopes, this is the largest international ski area in the world.
The poster is in excellent condition except for a small 2cm tear at left border. A wonderful original vintage poster for sure. Love it!
