This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
A wonderful lithographic SAS poster. designed by Olle Svensson, who also designed some other beautiful airline posters. The poster depicts an aircraft circling the globe with the text: "Jorden rundt dygnet runt" (around the world 24/7).
The airline was founded in 1946 as a consortium to pool the transatlantic operations of Svensk Interkontinental Lufttrafik, Det Norske Luftfartselskap and Det Danske Luftfartselskab. The consortium was extended to cover European and domestic cooperation two years later. In 1951, all the airlines were merged to create SAS.
Vibrant fresh colors and in excellent condition. You seldom find a rare poster like this such a condition. Wonderful!
