This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
A beauty! A male skier in the air, while fresh powder bounces of his skis and beautiful mountain peaks in the back. A classic ski scene. At last we have this wonderful ski poster by Harald Damsleth in stock. Damsleth designed this for the Norwegian ski manufacturer Splitkein while working for Myres Reklamebyrå 1937/38. The design has also been used in magazine ads.
Splitkein licensed their skis abroad both in the US by Felxible Flyer and Attenhofer in Switzerland. The US version of this poster is not signed and collectors often mistake the origin of this design with Sascha Maurer.
