This wonderful original vintage poster promotes Royal Mail Mediterranean Cruises and was designed by Charles Shepard who signed his work as Shep. He was the Head of the Studio at The Baynard Press.
The poster depicts a man at a Mediterranean market offering his goods for sale.
The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company was liquidated, and its assets taken over by the newly formed Royal Mail Lines in 1932.
In good condition. Has been folded; small repairs; mounted on linen.
