This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
This is a very rare original vintage railway poster issued by the Danish State Railways in 1951 to promote train journeys by the “Skandinavian – Italien - Express" to Italy and Switzerland.
A wonderful and colorful rendering by master poster designer Aage Rasmussen depicting Express carriages on the way to south of Europe. In the sky you see shadows of ruins in Rome and the Alps.
Timetable at bottom showing departure from Copenhagen at 10:25 arriving in Rome the next day at 23:45.
In excellent condition. Just minor tears, creases and slight darkening at top and right margin. Would look great framed!
