This is a striking original vintage poster commissioned by Havas Travel Agency in Belgium to promote the Ostende-Dover ferry connecting the Continent to Great Britain through the Belgian port of Ostende and its English counterpart in Dover.
A colorful art deco style rendering by T.E. Lemaire’s 1950 depicting a speeding couple carrying their suitcases on their way to embarking the ferry.
