This original vintage poster was issued by the Cunard Line to promote the Atlantic crossings probably in the early 1920's.
Other sources date this poster to about 1914 but that's not correct. The ship Berengaria was previously known as SS Imperator by HAPAG until it was overtaken by Cunard and renamed after the English queen Berengaria of Navarre, wife of Richard the Lionheart, in February 1921.
It's just stunning! What else is there to say about this poster? The poster depicts "The Big Three", Cunard Line steamships Mauretania, Berengaria, and Aquitania.
A stunning poster in excellent condition. A minor restoration in the margin.
