This is a stunning and very rare original Australian travel poster designed by master designer Percy Trompf.
Published by the Australian National Travel Association. The Australian National Travel Association (1929–2001) was a semi-government industry organisation which promoted tourism and travel in Australia.
The poster depicts an Australian farmer herding his sheep from the saddle of his horse with some help from his dog. A very cool image of the time.
Mounted on linen. A large vertical tear at top repaired, extensive replaced losses in margins; repaired tears, creases and restoration in margins.
Looks great. This one would stand out in any room!
