Wegner - Tyrestol - PP518 Bull Horn Chair

This is a very rare and cool poster depicting the Bull Horn Chair by the Danish architect and furniture designer, Hans Wegner (1914-2007). Designed in 1961. The chair is available in different choices of material, with either cane or an upholstered seat. Nothing is spared because in this case Wegner wanted to make an organically shaped chair that puts the human individual first.

This poster was designed as the book cover for the Wegner book Sitting Pretty. I’m told the poster only exists in 200 copies and was made in a rare cooperation between Wegner and Austin Grandjean (1930-2006).
