This is a great and rare poster by Ivar Gull. This is the first print from 1939.
The poster depicts a scene where locals in folklore costumes on their way to a Stave Church and a backdrop with fjords and mountains. A stave church is a medieval wooden Christian church building once common in north-western Europe.
Some light foxing at top. Minor repairs. Looks great! It’s professionally mounted on linen with an acid free barrier for preservation.
