Norway for real winter sport

This enchanting authentic poster serves as a promotion for Norway as a winter destination. Designed by Freda Lingstrom in subtle shades of gray, the poster features two ski jumpers in mid-air against a snowy Norwegian landscape with mountains as a backdrop.

Commissioned by the Norwegian and Swedish government, Lingstrom was tasked with creating Scandinavian travel propaganda for the European market. This particular poster is the English version of her work.

Considered quite rare, the poster has been professionally mounted on linen for preservation. It exhibits minor wear and a horizontal crease, but these imperfections do not diminish its overall appeal and historical significance.
