This striking 1980 poster, created by celebrated Danish artist and designer Per Arnoldi, was commissioned by Københavns Telefon Aktieselskab (KTAS), the Copenhagen Telephone Company. Known for his mastery of minimalism and bold visual language, Arnoldi distills the concept of communication into a striking abstract face—half red, half blue—intersected by a modern stylized telephone booth forming the facial contour.
The face's clean, modern lines and vivid contrasting colors create an instantly recognizable, highly effective visual identity. Around the border, the phrase “KTAS · HOLDER FORBINDELSEN VEDLIGE” ("KTAS maintains the connection") is repeated, reinforcing the company’s role in facilitating communication.
This poster is an original, hand-signed edition—number 175 of only 200 copies—making it exceptionally rare. It is in excellent condition, a pristine example of Danish modern graphic design from a leading figure in the field. This is both a collector's item and a piece of design history.
