This original poster promotes the 47th International Hahnenkamm Races held in Kitzbühel, Austria, on 24–25 January 1987, part of the BASF–FIS Ski World Cup. The bold red design with a dynamic, stylized skier captures the speed and intensity of one of the world’s most demanding alpine ski events, featuring the legendary downhill and slalom races on the Streif course.
The downhill race was won by Pirmin Zurbriggen, one of the dominant figures in alpine skiing during the 1980s, adding notable sporting significance to this edition of the event.
The slalom at the 1987 Hahnenkamm Races in Kitzbühel was won by Bojan Križaj. Križaj was one of the leading technical skiers of the 1980s and a specialist in slalom, making his victory at Kitzbühel particularly significant given the difficulty and prestige of the race.
The poster is in excellent condition, with strong color saturation and minimal signs of age, making it a striking and highly collectible example of late 20th-century ski racing ephemera.
