Issued in 1947 by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch Railways), this striking advertising poster encourages businesses to "Verzend per Spoor" ("Send by Rail"). Designed by Dutch graphic artist Fedde Weidema (1915–1999), the minimalist composition transforms a simple wooden shipping crate into a monumental symbol of secure and efficient freight transport. Its bold geometric design and restrained color palette make it an outstanding example of postwar Dutch commercial graphic design.
