This original vintage French travel poster promotes the French Alps and rail travel with the French National Railroads (SNCF). Designed by Saindre and issued in 1952, it uses the imaginative viewpoint of a railway carriage window to frame a spectacular Alpine landscape of snow-covered peaks, green valleys, forests and a mountain lake.
