This is a fantastic poster designed by Francisco de Gali. Gali only designed posters for exhibitions and cultural events.
The 1929 Barcelona International Exposition was the second World Fair to be held in Barcelona, the first one being in 1888. The exposition called for a great deal of urban development within the city, and became a testing-ground for the new architectural styles developed in the early 20th century.
The poster depicts a Byzantine Christ, architectural buildings and a bull. The background color printed in silver ink. Very artistic and stylish.
