A wonderful original movie poster designed by Niels Røhder, promoting the German movie with original title Die Czardasfürstin for the Norwegian audience.
Die Csárdásfürstin is an operetta in 3 acts by Hungarian composer Emmerich Kálmán, libretto by Leo Stein and Bela Jenbach.
Marta Eggerth was a Hungarian-born American actress and singer. Many of the 20th century's most famous operetta composers, including Franz Lehár, Fritz Kreisler, Robert Stolz, Oscar Straus and Paul Abraham, composed works especially for her.
The poster is mounted on brown paper as Kommunenes Filmcentral (KF) used to, before distributing the posters together with the film reels to the different movie theaters.
The poster has been folded. Some wear, small tear. Overall good. This is a very rare Norwegian movie poster.
