The 4th national Swedish Alpine Championship took place at Järvsöbacken in Järvsö and won by Hans Hansson representing the club Åre SLK. Giant Slalom was first intruduced in 1951.
This is a extremely rare poster designed by Bertil Damm. Damm was a famous Swedish painter and participated, in the 1920s and 40s, in a creative artist colony in Karsjö, not too far from Järvsöbacken in Järvsö.
