A stunning original vintage poster promoting travels to St. Moritz. The poster designed by Edouard Stiefel depicts a couple overlooking two lakes with high majestic mountain peaks in the back, maybe the Piz de la Margna at the south-western end of the Engadin valley.
St. Moritz hosted the Winter Olympics in 1928 and 1948. It is a popular destination of the upper class and international jet set, as well as one of the most expensive ski resorts in the world. Posters from St. Moritz are very sought after.
In very good condition. Mounted on linen. Ready to go on the wall!
