This is a great original poster with a wonderful and stylish rendering by Naurac depicting a ski jumper in the air probably in a ski hill in France. Mountain peaks in the background.
The poster is printed in 1930 but was printed without text for later text overprints. You can find this same poster with the text: 'Savoy et Dauphine' and "Villard de Lans Sports d'Hiver".
Issued by PLM, a French railway company who operated chiefly in the south-east of France, with a main line which connected Paris to the Côte d'Azur by way of Dijon, Lyon, and Marseille. Absorbed by SNCF in 1938.
In very good condition. Mounted on linen.
