Description:

A rare original vintage African travel poster depicting the Barotse State Barge filled with many oarsmen on the Zambezi river in Zambia, then Southern Rhodesia.

The King's state barge is called Nalikwanda and is painted black and white, like Zambia's coat of arms.

The Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland was a federal semi-Dominion that consisted of three southern African territories—the self-governing British colony of Southern Rhodesia and the British protectorates of Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland—between 1953 and 1963.

The poster is in very good condition. Note the size.
