A lovely original vintage travel poster designed by Hans Wagula to promote Steiermark as a travel destination in the summer season.
Steiermark or Styria is a state, or Bundesland, located in the southeast of Austria.
The poster depicts a Primrose in front of high mountain peaks. The name Primrose derives from the Latin prima rosa meaning 'first rose' of the year, despite not being a member of the rose family.
According to the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek (The Austrian National Library) this poster is from 1930.
A stain is visible right off the title. Otherwise in very good condition.
