A wonderful Norwegian travel poster designed by Knut Yran to promote Norway as a travel destination. The text refers to the midnight sun behind the Sami boy with his reindeer herd.
This poster was the First Prize Winner in the International IUOTO (International Union of Official Travel Organizations) Poster Contest in 1959.
The poster has been printed four times. This is the second impression from 1961.
Some dirt and wear. Tiny tears. Browning at top. Otherwise in good condition ready to be framed and sparkle on the wall.
