This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
A wonderful original vintage poster issued by SAS to promote their North Pole route, a direct route between California and Scandinavia.
The poster depicts an airplane above the North Pole with a route map showing the flight destinations.
On 15th November 1954, it was time for the big premiere. The Leif Viking took off from Los Angeles and the Helge Viking from Copenhagen, and the two planes met each other at the North Pole to celebrate the accomplishment.
This is a rare Danish version.
