A wonderful original vintage poster published to promote the 1935 exhibition "The modern summer home", a venue built with sports cabins according to type house drawings prepared by the architects Holger Blom and Jan Wahlman.
The 1935 exhibition was carried out in collaboration with the Swedish Handicraft Association, which would also show in furniture and interior design how the modern summer home could be designed - "modern, objective and hopefully pleasant".
Svenska Slöjdföreningen (The Swedish Society of Crafts and Design), was founded in 1845 to safeguard the quality of the Swedish crafts industry.
This is an exceedingly rare poster. Probably not many left, if any other than this one. Designed by the well-known Kalle Lodén, Swedish painter, sculptor and graphic designer.
In incredibly good condition just small piece missing of upper left corner.
