This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
This is an iconic original Danish railway poster depicting a locomotive at full speed. Designed by master poster designer Aage Rasmussen in 1937 for Danish State Railways.
The 23 year old Aage Rasmussen started his career in 1937 going to the Danish State Railways advertising department saying; I have a poster for you!
It was quickly decided that DSB would publish the poster in all the main languages, lithographically printed in 6 colors.
DSB stated in 1937, when the poster had been published: "We think the poster is quite unique. We are absolutely convinced that Aage Rasmusssen will become one of Denmark's best poster designers."
In very good condition. A tear at bottom left is repaird. Otherwise the poster is great.
