Norge - Sommersesong

This is a vintage travel poster by Benjamin (Ben) Blessum, designed to promote Norway as a summer destination. Blessum emigrated from Norway when he was only 11 years old with his family. From 1923 until his retirement in 1936, he served as the representative for the Norwegian State Railways in New York.

The poster was issued by the Norwegian State Railways and features a cruise ship inside a Norwegian Fjord, with stunning colors in the painting. The lithograph printed poster in 9 colors is an exclusive and rare piece.

This particular poster is the rare Norwegian version and is in excellent condition, making it hard to find. Seeing it in person is much better than looking at a small photo. The use of colors and the artist's skillful depiction of the ship in the fjord make this poster a beautiful representation of Norway as a summer travel destination.
