This is an extremely rare original vintage poster issued to promote the 1905 Sixth International Art Exhibition of the City of Venice.
The poster depicts a woman in front of the City of Venice.
A wonderful design by Ettore Tito, an Italian artist particularly known for his paintings of contemporary life and landscapes in Venice and the surrounding region. He trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and from 1894 to 1927 was the Professor of Painting there
The text at the bottom translates to: One way return railway tickets. Reduced prices. With free entrance to the exhibition.
In good condition. Some age wear that does not affect the image. Would look great framed!
