A glorious original Swiss vintage travel poster promoting Bürgenstock as a destination. Bürgenstock is a famous mountain located in the middle of Lake Lucerne, Switzerland. At top was the Hotel Kurhaus, a resort that achieved worldwide fame as a retreat and holiday place for celebrities.
Bürgenstock Bahn, a funicular railway, opened in 1888 and was the first electric railway in Switzerland. The new Bürgenstock Resort reopened in 2017.
This spectacular and rare poster is designed by Swiss poster artist Otto Landolt. A rare find. In very good condition. A small tear and water stains at bottom.
