This a lovely original vintage travel poster issued to lure travelers to Norway.
The poster depicts a wonderful sunny summer day scene from Lake Loen, a beautiful lake fed by glacial run off, especially from the Jostedalsbreen and Tindefjellbreen glaciers. The couple in the rowing boat is admiring the beautiful steep mountains and the glacier green water.
This has been printed several times. This is the printing from 1964. The poster has 2 ink stamps from British Railways showing it has been in use in the UK.
In very good condition. The poster has been folded. Light wear.
