A wonderful and very rare original lithograph in colour designed by Gwynn to promote the British South American Airways (BSAA).
British South American Airways (BSAA) was a state-run airline in the United Kingdom in the mid-late 1940s responsible for services to the Caribbean and South America. BSAA was merged into the British Overseas Airways Corporation at the end of 1949.
According to the book "The British Airways 100 years of aviation posters" is poster from 1946. You can also find this image on a postercard.
Mounted on linen. The left lower corner is a bit rough. Missing paper. Otherwise in great condition. Would look stunning framed.
