This is an Authentic Original Vintage Poster from its time. It's not a new reproduction.
This is a wonderful original vintage poster issued by BOAC stating, "It's a small world by Speedbird".
The Speedbird is the stylized emblem of a bird in flight depicted in the middle of the poster.
The emblem designed in 1932 by Theyre Lee-Elliott as the corporate logo for Imperial Airways. The term "Speedbird" is still in use as the call sign for British Airways.
The poster designed by Henrion shows the Speedbird emblem hovering over a world map containing the BOAC flight routes and destination National flags.
Some light age wear. Mounted on linen.
